AMUC Application Form is now available here!

What do we do?

AMUC is a space to journey with a group. We place an emphasis on people’s experiences and collectively explore Gospel issues; looking at scripture and life for the poor and outcast. We balance the learning with action and the action with reflection & rest.

The AMUC experience aims to get people excited to follow Christ. We hold tightly to the importance of journeying as a group and as individuals, and empowering each other as we go back to our communities.

AMUC is not a “mission”, but will certainly challenge your faith, lifestyle, priorities, and understanding of the gospel. It is a valuable experience for any Christian wanting to expand their experience, ground their theology, and learn new ways of relating the gospel with others doing the same.

Guest Speaker: Stephen Said from TEAR

Stephen is a husband, a dad, and a founding member of the Melbourne Victory Football Club. He is involved in leading missio Dei, a missional community in Melbourne’s north east. He is employed by TEAR Australia as National Youth/Young Adults Coordinator and as a sessional lecturer at Tabor College in Melbourne and ACOM.

“Stephen Said is one of the most refreshing and original people I know. He is passionate about reinventing the Church and Christian Leadership to meet the needs of a changing world.” (Steve Addison – Australian Director of Church Resource Ministries)
